Pikes Peak Christian School provides a quality, Bible-based education taught by Christian teachers in a safe and compassionate environment. Identifying and developing the academic, social, and spiritual potential of each student in partnership with God and family, since 1981.

Elementary School General Information

PPCS values each child and seeks to meet the individual learning styles with a teacher-pupil ratio of one to eighteen. Every academic subject is taught from a Biblical perspective and daily chapel offers a time for worship, scripture memorization and opportunities to develop leadership skills in drama and public speaking.

Kindergarten: The PPCS full day Kindergarten program is an academic, child-centered program that focuses on intellectual, social, creative, and physical development. The curriculum includes phonics, reading, language development, math, science, social studies, Spanish, Bible, art, music, computer, library skills, and physical education. Kindergartners celebrate the completed year with a graduation commencement.

Grades 1st - 5th: PPCS has a traditional curriculum in the elementary grades, enriched by several special programs. Phonics is a very important aspect of the first three grades. Art, computer, music, band (for 5th grade), Spanish, Bible, Accelerated Reading, and physical education offer special opportunities for each student's style of learning. Fifth graders may participate in afterschool athletics.
